JOSIAH is a singer, actor, dancer, songwriter, and producer from Brooklyn, NY. With influences including Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Usher, and Bruno Mars, JOSIAH blends the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of today to deliver a new but familiar approach to Soul and R&B. He delivers a dynamic performance that keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you wanting more!
Hailing from the entertainment capital in the world, NYC, he was born with a love for the stage and started performing at the age of 4; winning first place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s talent show at just 6 years old. He studied Musical Theater at the Professional Performing Arts School and is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music where he studied Music Business Management and Music Production and Engineering.
He has starred in Several productions including Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Euripides’ Trojan Women, A Servant of Two Masters, One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show, Parade the Musical, and many more. Being a vessel of creativity, JOSIAH, has his eyes set on every area of the entertainment industry as a front man and behind the scenes. At 17, he made his directorial debut with a production of Sorry Wrong Number and his writing debut with a holiday spectacular Harlem Holiday Live which was featured on ABC’s Eyewitness News. During his time at Berklee College of Music, JOSIAH served as the choreographer for Berklee’s Signature Series Productions in the Berklee Performance Center and was a featured singer in several shows across the campus.
JOSIAH is not only passionate about the arts but the power it has to change lives. Art has the power to heal and be the and therapeutic treatment. He believes his art is bigger than him and his personal aspirations and is his duty to provide the world with the healing balm of entertainment. His faith in God motivates him to spread love and joy through his music and art with people all over the world.
